FIJIANS in the west wanting to improve the performance of their businesses will next week have a chance to learn to do so.

A team from the Pacific Business Mentoring Program from Business Mentors New Zealand (BMNZ) will be in the country to conduct presentations in Lautoka and Nadi.

Business Mentors Pacific Program general manager Ian Furlong said the presentations would allow Fiji business owners to address key areas in their businesses.

There are many businesses in Fiji who have problems managing cash flow and finances that we are able to help, said Mr Furlong.

Others were looking to export and we have been working with them to identify markets overseas.

Many clients are looking to make plans for growth but are unsure how to take the next step, he added.

He said the use of business mentors from New Zealand would also allow participants at the workshop a chance to become more business savvy.

Experienced independent NZ business mentors bring a fresh perspective and approach to analysing existing business performance and opportunities in smaller business communities.
