Games/clinics
BADMINTON Fiji hosts social games every Friday from 6pm-8pm at the Yat Sen School Hall. Registration $3 per participant. Contact Carlene Bentley on 9331063. Ladies
THE Williams and Gosling-sponsored Fiji Golf Club Ladies International Team Event will be played on May 29 at the Vatuwaqa Golf Course. Entry fee is $10 per person. Each team will have four players (1 lady golfer and three male golfers). Individual stableford event. Teams are to be in national dress or colors. Ladies score must count and the best of two scores from the men. First to fourth prizes will be awarded, NTPs on all Par 3s, special prize for best dressed team and finger food provided at prizegiving. Registrations - 11am, shotgun start at 12.00noon and prizegiving at 5.30pm.
MS Bilmoria Open

The tournament will be held on June 30th at Vatureba Park. Registration fees $100 per team and winner gets $500, runner-up $250 and losing semi-finalist $100 and best dressed and male and female player $50 each. Only first 24 women and 12 men's team will be accommodated. Registration fee to be paid to Loata by June 22. Open men registration fee is $50. THE Marist Volleyball tournament is scheduled for June 7, 8 and 9 at the National Gymnasium, Suva. Registrations are $250 for men (24 teams), $150 for women (10-12 teams), mens Masters (over 35) $150 entry fee and $800 prizemoney and $150 for the Mixed Business House (10 teams). VOLLEYBALL competition will be held at Salvation Army grounds on June 11 at 8am. Registration fee $30 for first eight open men's and six women's teams. Registration fee can be paid at the Salvation Army or at True Blue Hotel to Mr Kumar. Registration closes on June 8th. Failure to pay on time will result in teams not being accepted.
