THE Fiji Beach Resort and Spa was a hype of activities yesterday as staff members enjoyed the day with their loved ones at the resort.
Children, parents and grandparents, who have relatives working at the Hilton-managed resort, converged to enjoy a Family Day that was hosted by the Blue Energy committee.
Activities recreational supervisor Doris Louis Navunicagi said the family day was for the Hilton families to enjoy with their loved ones.
She said the Fun Day was a needed break for the workers to socialise with their kids engaging in different sorts of games and activities organised by the committee.
"This is to get our workers and families together to enjoy a day of fun and activity, something different from our normal operation today (yesterday)," she said.
"These kinds of activities energise the workers and bring about positive vibes among them.
"It will also encourage a team member to perform better at the resort in the best hospitality spirit of the guest."
Mrs Navunicagi said the organisers were overwhelmed with the good turnout.
She said the fun day would also be a good team bonding exercise for the workers, motivating them to work harder.
