Choosing a career is a huge challenge for school leavers and for those seeking a change to their current career path. Deciding what job interests them, finding out what training is available and selecting the right training institute is a big responsibility.

One career choice that offers excellent job prospects is aviation and many students from Fiji and overseas have chosen to do their pilot training with Advance Aviation Training (Fiji) Ltd in Nadi, Fiji.

Advance Aviation Training (Fiji) Ltd is based at Nadi Airport and operates both single engine and twin-engine aircraft exclusively for flight training. They also have an Elite PI-158 Flight Simulator for Instrument Training.

A.A.T. is pleased to announce their fleet size is about to increase with the addition of three new aircraft due to be ready for this mid-year.

'Since our school started in 2002 we have trained students from around the Pacific region with students coming from Fiji, Vanuatu, Solomon Islands, Kiribati, Tuvalu, New Caledonia, Papua New Guinea and Mongolia. Our courses include Private Pilot Licences, Commercial Pilot Licences, Airline Transport Pilot Licences as well as twin endorsements, instrument ratings and instructor ratings." said Captain Wayne Hinton, Chief Flying Instructor for Advance Aviation Training.

It takes dedication and hard work to be a pilot. Greer Nakaroti is the Senior Flight Instructor at Advance Aviation Training. "Anyone wishing to be a pilot would need to be self-motivated and have good time management skills. They need to be committed to their studies and put the maximum effort into both their theoretical and practical work." she said.

Advance Aviation has fully air-conditioned classrooms and lectures are conducted by our dedicated professional Ground Instructors who offer personalised tuition for small class groups. Computer based training is also used for many of the subjects taught.

Advance Aviation Training (Fiji) Ltd can help ensure students achieve their goals to be a professional pilot. There are airlines seeking pilots around the Pacific and around the world so there has never been a better time to learn to fly!
