THE Kaila Star Search competition will now be an all-inclusive show.
In a statement, the Hibiscus Event Group Inc said the show which previously focused on singing talent would now include any form of art or talent that was expressive or creative in nature.
"For this event, we're not just looking at singing talents. Rather, we're looking at a variety of talents that one may have, like stand-up comedians, band or singing group, choir, instrumentalists or music covering all genres, poetry reading and dancing," said HEGI's executive secretary Aqela Cakobau.
She said the judges were awed during initial auditions held on May 5 at Suva's Civic Auditorium.
The acts included a sigi-drigi duet, dancers, a drummer and a number of solo singers, the statement said.
The finals will be held on August 18 during the Hibiscus Festival.
