BAIL variation for one of four people charged with urging political violence will be heard next month.
Mataiasi Ragigia applied for bail variation.
He is jointly charged with Dr Mere Samisoni, Apete Vereti and Semisi Lasike. They appeared before Chief Magistrate Usaia Ratuvili yesterday.
In February, Mr Ratuvili allowed variation to bail for the four by substituting the daily reporting to the police station for the four suspects to Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 8am and 4pm. He had also allowed Dr Samisoni to change her address from Central apartments to Muanikau.
The court heard that the four accused were granted bail on January 4 and the conditions included they not change their addresses for the duration of their case; all travel documents be surrendered; they report daily to their nearest police stations and they not leave the confines of their homes between 7pm and 6am.
Yesterday, Mr Ratuvili adjourned the case to June 19 for mention to check on outstanding disclosures. Mr Ragigia's bail variation hearing will be held on the same day.
