THE Bula Fiji Tourism Exchange is opening up new markets for small tourist service providers.

BFTE committee chairman David Voss said it was a good place for small service providers to meet their clients and even make new business deals.

One such tourist operator was Kila Eco Adventure Park.

Park market supervisor Asmeel Ram said the trade show allowed them to secure new business deals and also get feedback from their clients.

Mr Ram said the trade show allowed the adventure park a good way to recommend to their clients what they had to offer.

Another first-timer, Japanese owned Kelly Ann Weddings co-ordinator Kelly Ann said the trade show had helped boost her new business.

"I've had some very positive feedback from my clients," said Ms Ann.

Tour Managers Fiji Islands managing director Damend Goundar said they were introducing some new initiatives at BFTE which they wanted to show their clients.

"This is where we make new deals and we meet a lot of travel agents who are interested in our tours," said Mr Goundar.

A long time sponsor of the event, Fiji Water also played a major part in the annual success of BFTE.

Fiji Water Fiji on-premise sales manager Leonarda Campbell said it was their opportunity to support their customers and their clients.
