THE government has made a serious commitment to ensure consumers in Fiji get a better deal when purchasing products.
Speaking to The Fiji Times at the 34th International Organisation for Standardisation Consumer Policy Committee (ISO/COPOLCO) meeting in Nadi, Consumer Council of Fiji CEO Premila Kumar said the government's commitment meant the people would have a better understanding of products they purchase.
The meeting was opened by Attorney-General and Minister for Trade Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum.
