WOMEN in business have been urged to push their boundaries in a bid to have more women in management and leadership positions.
Chartered accountant Doctor Nur Bano Ali told a group of women yesterday to keep intervening without which there would not be much of a change.
She made the comments during a luncheon with participants of Women In Business in Suva.
Dr Ali said the continuous exchange of women's experiences in their role as managers and mothers should be encouraged given the minority representation women held in the upper echelons of the corporate environment.
The luncheon at DeVos On the Park marked a pre-Mother's Day lunch for participants and members of Women In Business agency.
Dr Ali said participants shared their experience about balancing the act of motherhood with work and life.
"We need to raise awareness to being a mother and managing your work.
"Unless we have these forums, there's no way they would know," she said.
