POLICE are yet to ascertain whether any drugs, money or items were stolen during a break-in at the Criminal Investigations Department headquarters last weekend.
Asked about reports on hard drugs being stolen from the exhibit room at the CID headquarters, CID director Senior Superintendent of Police Vakacegu Toduadua said, "we are still trying to determine whether any drugs and anything else was stolen".
The break-in at the exhibit room in the CID headquarters in Toorak, Suva happened sometime last weekend.
SSP Toduadua confirmed there was a break-in at the CID headquarters, saying it was in the ground floor of the building.
"But we can't ascertain yet whether any drugs or money was stolen because a lot of things are kept there," he said.
