THE European Union will continue to give financial and technical assistance to the Pacific in the areas of climate change, human rights, democracy, good governance and sustainable development.
Johnny Engell-Hansen, EU Delegation for the Pacific charge d'affaires, made the statement during European Day celebrations on Wednesday night.
He revealed the EU was the second biggest donor to the Pacific region with 715 million Euros ($F1.68billion) between 2008 and 2013, a higher per-capita assistance than anywhere else in the world.
