THE One People reggae concert to be held in Labasa has been shifted to next week.

The Labasa Town Council confirmed the booking for the concert scheduled for last night at Subrail Park has been moved to next week.

The concert has attracted public attention and the tickets are selling like hot cakes.

The police have also drawn up security plans for the occasion which is expected to draw fans from the three provinces of Cakaudrove, Bua and Macuata.

Police north media officer Constable Luke Rawalai said officers would be deployed to Subrail Park and the town and residential areas.

"We know this event will attract a lot of people from all over Vanua Levu and that is why we are beefing up security and patrol.

"A lot of people will also leave their homes to come and watch the reggae concert so we will also patrol the residential areas," he said.
