THE Fiji Times remains the country's most widely-read newspaper, a survey has found.

The Fiji Media Survey by Tebbutt Research shows 91.7 per cent of newspaper readers in Fiji read The Fiji Times.

Ninety-three per cent of people interviewed read the newspaper in the past seven days and 99 per cent have "ever read" it. 55.5 per cent read The Fiji Times exclusively while 35.9 per cent read Fiji's two dailies.

Five per cent of the people interviewed in the April survey said they had never read a newspaper.
