ATHLETICS

Coaches Clinic

ATHLETICS Fiji will be running a coaching clinic from Thursday May 3 to Saturday May 5 at Marist Brothers High School from 9am to 4pm. Invitation is to all school teachers who are interested in taking Athletics Coaching Courses to attend. All interested participants are to contact Jane Ratu at the Athletics Fiji office on office line 3306470 to mobile on 9947797. There will be a limit on the number of 30 participants for these courses so please confirm you place as soon as possible. Course fee will be $50 per individual participants.

THE postponed 2012 Srixon Cleveland Fiji Amateur & Easter Teams Championships over 54 holes at the NAGC will be held May 5-6. Maximum handicap of 10. Charity golf

TIFFANY'S of Canada will host a charity golf tournament for the western flood victims at the Nadi Airport Golf Club on Sunday May 20. Breakfast and on-course beverages will be provided by Tiffany's with registration fees of $400 per team. All proceeds will go towards the Prime Minister's flood appeal fund. NNA knock out tournament will be held this Saturday at Lawaqa Park Ground 2 at 9am.Teams to assemble at 8.30 in proper uniforms. Registration starts at 8am and fees to be paid to Loata in full of $50.Gate Taking $2 p/p. Open Women's and Open Men's teams are welcome and Western Rally Tour Selection will be done on the same say. Upper Valley, Lower Valley and Baravi Zone Teams are to meet at Lawaqa for the Knockout. Club Games will be held at 3 Zones. Teams from Nadroga/Navosa are welcome to join the season. To all our former and present members we will present our reguregu for our President Mr.Eparama Turaga tomorrow evening..please all are requested to meet @ the courts from 4pm and we will leave ffor his residence @6pm..we request assistance in the usual of cash n kind. LNA will be having friendly matches on Saturday 5th May starting from 1000am.Registration forms will be available @ the courts.We will also have a general meeting to discuss registration forms/Season's opening/registration fees.

THE Fiji Bitter Marist Volleyball tournament is scheduled for June 7, 8 and 9 at the National Gymnasium, Suva. Registrations are $250 for men (24 teams), $150 for women (10-12 teams), $100 for Youth Competition (10 teams, boys/girls), and $150 for the Mixed Business House (10 teams) category.
