CLOSE to 300 children will be involved in the week-long third bi-annual Kids Games that started at Albert Park in Suva yesterday.

Eight churches from Suva and Lami have united to organise the event that aims to teach children valuable life skills and about the Bible.

Organising committee member Tom Tiko said the event would also be used as an appeal to help collect sporting equipment for flood-affected children of the Western Division.

"The aim of this appeal is to bring some fun and joy back into the lives of children affected by the floods," he said.
