THE much-anticipated reunion of former Saint Thomas Primary School students has aroused a plethora of emotions for those who have been separated for a good many years.
This week students from as far back as the 50s to the 80s started gathering in Lautoka, arriving from as far as the US, Australia and New Zealand.
Organising committee secretary Margaret Pickering Seru said visitors from offshore retracing their footsteps in the Sugar City yesterday included the Eastgates, Hughes, Chong Sue, and Go families.
This is the first-ever reunion of students who attended the Catholic-run school which was established in 1925.
The reunion celebration starts on Friday and ends on Monday.
