MOTORISTS can expect to save up to as much as 30 kilometres of fuel when they switch to the newly introduced TOTAL Excellium fuel.
TOTAL Excellium fuel which is suited for unleaded petrol vehicles will help keep Fiji clean and green with carbon dioxide emissions cut by up to 5 per cent, the company said during the simultaneous launch of the product in Suva and Nadi on Friday.
According to the company, the new fuel will protect vehicle engine while it cleans the most sensitive engine parts.
And engine performance is expected to improve along with vehicle "drivability", TOTAL said.
Thirty engineers have worked on the development of the new fuel product over the past two years, the company said.
TOTAL Excellium fuel is being introduced for the time in the south west Pacific, the company said.
