THE Asco Motors Bua Trade Show is one of the most significant events because it brings more people in the province together, says Asco Motors marketing manager Elenoa Korovulavula-Mule.

The three-day event which ended last Friday has been a success for the past five years.

Ms Mule said this year's event had seen more villagers from the outer islands in Bua compared to the previous years.

She said the villagers not only took advantage of the product exhibitions but they also showed their tremendous support to the company.

"This showcase has grown in the past five years with people coming in to purchase items like mobile phones, housing items and generators," she said.

"We are also thankful to the chiefs of Bua for encouraging their people to come and take advantage of our show.

"This has become an annual event in the province and we hope it will continue to grow bigger and better in the coming years," said Ms Mule.

Event co-ordinator Joseva Tuqiri said such showcase had brought goods and services closer to the people of Bua.

"The villagers were able to save transportation costs to Labasa because whatever they needed to purchase was available at the showcase," he said.
