Morrison is a "very happy" man
The Glee star has been dating Renee Puente since last summer and is pleased to have found love with someone who isn't famous because she gives him the "normality" he needs in his life. He said: "I'm very happy. Renee's not in the industry ù I need that normality. We like to stay home and cook, we're not that Hollywood." Despite feeling settled with Renee, Matthew insists he is in no rush to have children, even though he has recently spent a lot of time with Sir Elton John and David Furnish's 14-month-old son Zachary. Matthew ù who plays teacher Will Schuester in the musical TV show ù also revealed how being a household name hasn't changed his outlook on life and is still sensible when it comes to money.
Julian Lennon makes no mistake
The 49-year-old singer was the result of the late Beatles legend's first marriage to Cynthia Powell, and he admits he always delayed having children because he did not want to do the same things his parents did when they were young. He said: "I didn't want to follow certain things dad had done because dad's mother died when he was 17 and so on. So I didn't want to have children so early in life and I wanted to learn about life a little more ... I didn't want to make the same mistakes, basically. One can only hope I've learnt a little more and am a little wiser on that front. It was a different time for everybody." Julian ù who was abandoned by his dad at the age of five after his parents divorced ù has in recent years been collecting memorabilia related to his father and he is doing so in the hope he can one day show the items to his children, if he has them.
Robin Gibb vows to return
The Bee Gees star who has liver and colon cancer ù has beaten incredible odds to wake up from a coma after catching pneumonia and his son has vowed he will "continue to fight" and hopes to fully recover and record again. Son Robin-John Gibb told The Sun newspaper: "His vitals are perfect. He just needs to build his strength. Work is what he wants to get back to doing." Robin-John, 29, added his father ù who was given less than a 10 per cent chance of survival by doctors ù had started mouthing along to the words of his own songs when they played them to him, and finally came back around as his family played the music from his recent classical work 'Titanic Requiem'.
JLS' fans go wild
The boy band have been forced to stay in hotels outside of a five-mile radius of the venues they play on their tour in order to keep their whereabouts secret from overzealous fans. They told Irish TV show 'Xpose': "The hotels can't deal with the fans, they'll rip out everything to get to us. They smash in windows and break down doors and we have to pay for it." The decision to move the band's accommodation to outside the city centres is said to have been taken after their last insurance bill was "astronomical". The band also revealed their loyal fans have been supportive of singer Marvin Humes' engagement to The Saturdays singer Rochelle Wiseman, and have sent the couple congratulatory messages.
