Update: 12:01PM MARIST Brothers High School is on track to achieve its target of 12 gold medals before the relay events begin.

Competing without their track star Banuve Tabakaucoro, the Red Fire boys have so far won 11 gold medals.

Word from the Marist tent is that, the 12 gold medals should place them in a secure spot to win the boys division.

Meanwhile, officials have maintained their earlier decision to give the blue ribbon title to Suva Gammar School's Waisale Ledua.

Sila Central School had filed a protest on Friday night after their athlete Waisake Rasalala also clocked 11.04s. The race was decided on photo finish.
