100m has new champ

Update: 9:00PM WAISALE Ledua is the new blue-ribbon champion of the Coca-Cola Games.

Ledua won the senior boys 100m event, sending Suva Grammar School fans into a frenzy.

His gain is Banuve Tabalaucoro's loss.

Tabakaucoro, of Marist Brothers High School, is the national and South Pacific champion.

He suffered a hamstring on Thursday, ruling him out of the race.

The race was a close call with officials having to rely on the photo finish to determine the winner.

Sila Central's Waisake Rasalala also clocked 11.04 seconds with Ledua but lost out because he put his leg out first.
Ledua won because his chest was the "first" to pass the finish line.
