Gala wine and dinner event

Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa
Tuesday, April 24, 2012

Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa is casting off its kava connections to pursue more sophisticated palates in 2012, and will host another one of its popular winemaker dinner events this Friday, April 27.

The resort has partnered with supplier Victoria Wines & Spirits, Fiji to hold a series of elegant winemaker dinner events in 2012.

The next one scheduled to take place this Friday at Sofitel's signature restaurant, V, will commence with pre-dinner drinks from 6.30pm followed by a delectable four-course degustation menu designed by the resort's renowned executive chef, Brendon Coffey.

To complement the food, Clive Weston of Nautilus Wines will be joining us with some outstanding labels from the Nautilus range.

Clive Weston has extensive wine knowledge and has been in the wine industry for over 30 years and has worked in some of the top wine producing regions of the world, including Chateau Cantenac Brown in Margaux, France. Clive is the managing director of Negociants New Zealand, one of the country's pre-eminent wine shippers, and owners of Nautilus Estate of Marlborough, of which Clive is also general manager.

V restaurant, located at the luxurious Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa on Denarau Island, is unrivalled when it comes to dining in the Pacific.

Put simply, it's the perfect place to celebrate something special, host a memorable business event, or delight in a world class gourmet experience without ever leaving Fiji's shores.

Proudly Fijian with local artwork and motifs adoring white walls and influencing its decor and design, V restaurant is also unapologetically chic, making it the perfect venue for those with an appreciation for fine food, wine and service.
