THE Labasa Hospital Board of Visitors yesterday handed over a set of settee to the Labasa hospital to cater for visitors.

Hospital board member and community worker Selina Lee Wah said they arranged for the gift with Courts Fiji Ltd.

"The settee will also cater for patients who might want to come out and relax in the lounge. This settee will be placed in the lounge near the women's surgical ward," Ms Lee Wah said.

"We needed a set of settee for the lounge and when we approached Courts Fiji Ltd, they were more than willing to help and I thank especially the executives in Suva," she said.

Labasa Hospital administrator Eroni Cevamaca said family members who visited their relatives in hospitals could use the lounge to rest for a while before making their way to the wards.

"We had asked the board to help us with furnishing the lounge near the women's surgical ward and they have helped us in that area.

"Families and friends who come and visit their loved ones in hospital can also use the lounge to relax in," Mr Cevamaca said.
