THE majority of people reported missing to police in the past five months are yet to be found.
Of the 89 people reported missing to police from November 30 last year to April 21 this year, 38 have been found while 51 are missing.
Police public relations manager Ana Naisoro said 51 of those reported missing at police stations and community posts in the country were yet to be found.
"This is due to the complainants not informing police that the missing person has returned home to lack of information given by the complainants," she said.
