PRIME Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama yesterday announced the name of the final member of the five-member constitutional commission, women's and children's rights and community activist Penelope "Peni" Moore.
A government statement said Ms Moore, a veteran of the civil society and the NGO movement, worked with SPCA for years, after which she became the first co-ordinator for the Fiji Women's Rights Movement.
She went on to serve as the creative director at Women's Action for Change (WAC), a post she still holds.
In her 18 years at WAC, Ms Moore has engaged with marginalised communities throughout Fiji.
