DEVELOPMENT iss¡u¡es are likely to top the agenda for next month's two-day Cakaudrove Provincial Council meeting, says roko tui Cakaudrove Ro Aca Mataitini.
"We will also discuss other needs of the people of Cakaudrove and necessary development work that may need to take place but that will be made known to us by government reps," Ro Aca said.
"The presence of government officials will help us greatly in the meeting as they will answer to queries from the provincial reps who will then let their people know," he said.
"We are aware of villagers concern over some qoliqoli issues so that too will be discussed. It is important that villagers know the laws that surround qoliqoli licenses," he said.
The meeting will be held on May 30 and 31 in Savusavu.
It is not clear whether the Tui Cakau, Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu, will be at the meeting.
