Update: 11:45PM THERE are three health assessment teams in flood stricken areas in the west.

One team is visiting evacuation centres, one would look at food condemnation while the third will be responsible for vector control disinfection and disease investigation.

The National Emergency Operation Centre situation report issued at 10.30pm said health awareness programs were also being carried out at evacuation centers.

Meanwhile, a Fiji Pharmaceutical and Bio-Medical Supplies truck departed Suva at 2.30pm today transporting pharmaceutical supplies to Navua and the west.
