THE national Digicel 7s team were inspired to give their heart, soul, energy and their best to scoop the Asian leg of HSBC IRB Sevens World Series that finishes in Japan tonight.

In their afternoon devotion on Friday, team manager Semi Rogoyawa challenged the players on the significance of team work, unity and sheer hard work.

"Team work is a crucial part of moulding a winning team as witnessed in Hong Kong," Rogoyawa told the players. "We have another obstacle in front of us and only in team work we can repeat last week's achievement. We have 12 players here and we want all of you to enter the ground with one soul and one heartbeat to beat the odds here in Japan."

Rogoyawa told the players that work was yet to be fully completed and challenged the players to save the best for last entering today's big games. He said he was optimistic of another fine display in Japan and the onus was on the 7s gladiators to make it happen one more time for the fans and for the country.

"We are here on a purpose and it is important to give the best still left in you for this tournament," he told the boys. We have sacrificed our time back home at training because of this tournaments and the challenge is on the players to rise to the occasion and deliver the goods for their fans.
