THE Pacific Islands News Association media summit begins at the Lagoon Resort, Pacific Harbour with a series of workshops today.
More than 100 journalists from around the region will converge to discuss pertinent issues regarding the media industry.
Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama, will officially open summit tomorrow.
Workshops leading up to the summit are on topics such as anti-corruption, sports, climate change, millennium development goals and non-communicable diseases. The summit will also include the election of new office bearers.
