STAFF members of two oranisations turned out in "bula" wear yesterday.
Ministry of Regional Development director development services Tevita Boseiwaqa said apart from wearing bula on Fridays, staff of the ministry held morning tea at the end of the month.
"It is to build up team work," he said.
"Our ministry is growing - (to include) multi-ethnic affairs and sugar, There's (also)disaster management.
"At the morning tea we also take the opportunity to acknowledge those promoted during the month and those who celebrated their birthdays."
Westpac Bank marketing and communications officer Eileen Kesteven said bula wear was among the bank's new corporate uniform launched last week.
"Across the Pacific in seven different countries Westpac staff members wear the same uniform every Friday," she said.
