Second depression to the west

Update: 12:07PM A SECOND depression to the west of the Fiji Group appears to be moving away from the country.

Tropical Depression 13F was located about 700km west-northwest of Suva at 9am today.

Winds of up to 30 knots have been reported at the centre of the depression and the system is travelling west-northwest or away from the group at this stage.

It is expected to intensify over the next 24-hour period and will develop winds of up to 45 knots in the next 36 hours.

The drepression is moving at about six knots.
