A NEWS item on same sex marriage aired on a local radio station will be the subject of police investigation.
Information permanent secretary Lieutenant Colonel Neumi Leweni said the news item broadcast by VitiFM was wrong because it stated that the new Crime Decree had approved gay marriage.
He said they would verify the information and refer the matter to the police for investigation. Lt-Col Leweni such false information could create instability.
Attempts to get comments from Viti FM proved futile.
