Paea Loisi Williams: 10 things I can't live without

Sunday, November 29, 2009

Although she was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, Tonga's South Pacific Pageant contestant, Paea Loisi Williams never lost touch with her roots. The only girl in a family of three brothers, Paea says they still practise their Tongan traditions and culture to this day.

Now a big time dancer/entertainer with Tihati Productions in Hawaii and a freelance make-up artist, the very outgoing and down-to-earth beauty queen was only too happy to share the 10 things on her everyday list with Sunday Times readers.

1. My Family - mum, dad and three brothers.

2. Bible and prayer - - I really, really need my Bible to keep me spiritually strong.

3. Culture - I also need my culture. It gives me an identity to who I am and if anyone has a question about that, I just tell them who I am. Tell them I'm Tongan and proud to be one.

4. Running Shoes - My running shoes because I need to keep fit. Normally I try to exercise everyday.

5. Lip gloss - because I need to keep my lips moisturized.

6. Waterproof mascara.

7. Music - I love all kinds of music. I'm a dancer so I love the beat. Polynesian music, reggae music, R&B, Country- I'm very open to all kinds of music.

Favourite artist: I really like Beyonce, not because she's popular, but because she's an entertainer.

8. Bathing Suit - My bathing suit, because I love to swim.

9. Lotion - My coconut lotion from Pure Fiji (Lol). Honestly, I do lotion my body every night, so lotion is definitely one thing I can't live without.

10. Smile - My fun personality and my smile! That's it!
