STUDENTS from the University of the South Pacific, the Fiji School of Medicine and the Fiji Institute of Technology joined forces at the South Pacific Pageant to talk to their peer groups about human values.
"These volunteer groups of three or four members are at Albert Park talking to their peers about their sexuality, said Reproductive and Family Health Association of Fiji executive director Dr Sakeo Varea.
"Our approach is different though. Apart from promoting condom use, we are also trying to promote human values like love, care and compassion.
"These can make a difference in society and it can bring about a positive change."
