THE Ba Golf Club has lined up a full program to mark the end of the 2009 season.
The club will be a hive of activity every weekend with major tournaments organised for the members.
BGC captain Manish Patel said interest in the sport had been on the rise since the annual open championship earlier this month.
Patel said they had lined up monthly medal events to be played over five weeks, starting tomorrow.
He said this would culminate with the Design Engineering-sponsored President's Cup on Boxing Day.
"The monthly medals are sponsored by A Jan Group," Patel said.
"There is a sponsored competition every Satur-day.
"Every Sunday there will be a chicken run. This competition will be played over nine holes only.
"Interest in the sport is picking up. Last week we held a tournament sponsored by Makar Druj of Canada. He was our green keeper for a long time before migrating.
"It is good to see the former golfers support the club by sponsoring tournaments."
Veteran Rajend Singh is the top contender for the monthly medal titles.
