A PASSENGER on a cruise liner will return home next week with wonderful memories of Fiji.
Ivana Aiello, 19, of Sydney in Australia, said it was her first visit to Fiji and she loved it.
She was with nine other family members on the Pacific Dawn, which berthed at the King's Wharf in Suva yesterday.
"Yesterday (Friday) the ship went to Port Denarau. We went to the Sofitel, which was really nice and we drank kava." Before Fiji, the Pacific Dawn called at Noumea, New Caledonia.
"Going there was okay but the people were not very friendly. I love Fiji's culture and the people are friendly." Ms Aiello said Fiji was nothing like Sydney.
"Back home all we do is go to work and come home to sleep. Coming here has been fun, especially the little markets and there are many things to enjoy."
