FIRST timer Ruci Rokoura will produce her best in the long jump in the Chow Games .
Competing for the first time, the nine-year-old Sote District School student said she could hardly wait for her event.
"I'm confident of winning gold in my event," she said.
Training with the rest of her Northland team athletes the lass looked confident at the tfl National Stadium yesterday.
"I know there are other athletes vying for a medal, but I'm confident of winning.
"Not only a medal but gold," she smiled.
She said together with her team mates they were optimistic of winning some medals this weekend.
Boosted by the support, the squad is here on a mission -- to win medals.
Seventeen districts including seven maritime districts will be participating in this year's FMF Chow Games including Team Tonga consisting of 27 athletes and five officials.
