SUPER heavyweight Samisoni Bulaovea will pit his skills in his fight tonight in a Tri Nations amateur boxing competition at Noumea, New Caledonia.
Also competing is fellow amateur heavyweight fighter Ronald Mateyawa.
Fiji Amateur Boxing Association secretary, Paula Raqeukai said the two would meet fighters from Vanuatu and New Caledonia.
"This is a build-up towards the 2011 South Pacific Games," he said.
"The two are focused on tonight's (yesterday) fight," he said.
"They will be participating in two fights and their final one is tomorrow night (tonight)."
They were accompanied by trainer Pauliasi Ratu and Iliesa Tuinakenatabua as technical officer.
"Tuinakenatabua will also be officiating in the tournament," Raqeukai said.
New Caledonia will be hosting the 2011 South Pacific Games, after winning the vote in Palau.
Solomon Islands, and American Samoa also bidded to host but were eliminated in the first round.
