MEDAL winners of the 2009 FMF Chow Games can now walk away with their medals after the presentation on competition day.
Yesterday, Fiji Primary Schools Athletics Associ-ation secretary Patrick Bower confirmed that the medals were with them.
Last year, winners had to wait for a couple of days before they received their medals.
"Yes the medals are here with us and now the winners can walk away with their medals straight after the presentation," Bower said.
Bower said there were a lot of problems when the medals arrived late last year.
"Our preparation is on track," Games administrator Joy Rakabu said.
More than a thousand athletes from 17 districts are registered for the two day tournament.
