ALEX Miller of Nadi will be out to claim the Mr Fiji title during the Fiji Amateur Bodybuilding Federation Championship in Suva on November 21.
Miller was the second runner-up during last year's competition which was won by Canada-based Caine Wendt.
The 27-year-old has been training daily and is confident of a better performance this year.
Miller said he was bigger and better.
"I will try and put on the best poses," Miller said.
"Bodybuilding is an expensive sport. A lot of money goes towards buying the dietary supplements. "You need to eat a good diet daily. Then there is a lot of training involved as well. You have to keep in shape."
Miller took up the sport at the age of 20.
He has been competing in the National Championship since then.
In 2007, he was awarded the most improved bodybuilder title at the national championship.
Miller will compete in the 85-90 kilogram category.
"I feel confident this year," Miller said. "I will do my talking on the stage."
FABF president Inoke Tikotikoca said there would be many attractive prizes at stake in the competition.
