TWO of the biggest netball associations in the country have voiced their concerns about the saga, which has plagued the biggest women's sport in the country.
The Suva and Nasinu Netball Associations are concerned about the affairs of the sport and will both move a motion for a special general meeting when the council meeting is held next Saturday.
Suva Netball Association secretary Rubyann Sorovaki said they were concerned and reiterated that the sport was bigger than any individual.
"We want to get the sports forward and have development and sponsors on board," Sorovaki said.
"There is not only one issue, which we are concerned about but a number of things.
"We need to look at the smaller teams and the development work which is needed."
She confirmed that Suva, along with Nasinu, would move a number of motions at the council meeting.
Sorovaki said it was not as simple as moving people from their current position.
"There has to be an approach to the whole situation and stakeholders must be on the same wave length for a unified strong group to get netball back on track."
Nasinu netball president Alini Sovu said they had written to Fiji Netball Association as they were concerned about the internal bickering.
"Nasinu is concerned about what is happening with netball which is only damaging the sport," Sovu said.
"There are too many negatives and we need to get the sport moving forward and not dwell and fight in public."
Fiji netball and sacked coach Melissa Walker have been odds since the team took the South Africa tour in May.
FNA claimed Walker and her management defied the order of the association tto go on tour.
This resulted in Walker getting the sack, after which she was reinstated by the state.
However, Walker was not allowed to go with the team to the Mini Pacific Games in the Cook Islands last month.
This despite her taking the Fiji Under-21 side to the World Youth Championships in August.
Walker was sacked again in October but she has maintained she is still the coach of the team until such time that FNA sits with her to discuss her payments.
This has seen a number of debates taking place with Walker and certain members of FNA.
