THE Flying Fijians captain for the tour to Europe is likely to be announced next week.
A new rugger will take charge of the national team after veteran halfback Mosese Rauluni was ruled out because of injury.
Coach Samu Domoni did not wish to comment yesterday and manager Joe Browne said the team management was working on other aspects of the tour.
"Maybe, we will name the captain in Scotland when all the players are together. The coaches should have the final say on this," Browne said.
New Zealand-based prop Gra-ham Dewes joined camp yesterday and took part in the afternoon gym session at the University of the South Pacific.
Dewes is happy with the call-up and has promised to do his best for Fiji.
Browne said the team was injury free.
The Flying Fijians will train at the Suva Grammar School grou-nds this morning and present their i-tatau to the President, Ratu Epeli Nailatikau, tomorrow.
The side leaves for Nadi on Thursday and flies out for Europe on Friday.
Fiji plays Scotland on Novem-ber 12.
