ASCO Motors and Bluebird Printery are the teams to beat in the Fintel-sponsored Business House Futsal League.

In the latest round of matches at the Old National Gym on Tuesday night, Asco Motors drew 1-1 against Carpenters Hardware I to maintain its top of the table lead in pool four while Bluebird Printery extended its lead in pool three with a 4-0 win over Homemaker.

The side, however, faces a strong challenge from Dove Rentals and Fiji Bandag for a top finish.

Carpenters Hardware II led by Rewa player/coach Marika Rodu and Sarvesh Pal look set to claim top honours in pool two after beating Quest 4-3.

Former Suva striker Shashi Singh scored a hat-trick and seasoned Futsal player Kalivati Covu added the fourth.

Westpac is leading pool one after six rounds of pool play.

Organiser Sheik Dean said Asco Motors without any prominent futsal players would be the team to watch in the elimination rounds.

Dean said the 32 teams would be seeded after pool play with the eliminations to be played in the cup and plate divisions.

"Eight teams are playing in four pools. The top four from each pool qualify for the main elimination where they will be divided into four pools.

The league kicked off last month and is expected to continue until December.
