Fijian cops praised

THE contribution of Fijian women in the Regional Assistance Missions to the Solomon Islands has been highly commended by RAMSI Special Co-ordinator, Graeme Wilson during the Fiji Independence day celebrations.

Fijian police officers Salaseini Vakatuturaga, officers Maria Lilicama and Romiliani 'Millie' Ducia are part of the 10 Fijians who are currently serving with the RAMSI contingent.

Mr Wilson said the contribution of police officers from Fiji as well as civilians such as the Assistant Special Co-ordinator, Mataiasi Lomaloma, was tremendous and appreciated.
