THE sub-divisional medical officer at Vunidawa Hospital in Naitasiri says there a need for more vehicles, including an ambulance.
Dr Kaleli Buinimasi said their vehicles were constantly breaking down and creating problems for them.
Yesterday, the ambulance transporting a patient to Suva for an x-ray broke down on the way.
Jese Raibe, 76. who was brought to the CWM Hospital, said he was told he needed an x-ray.
Dr Buinimasi said they needed vehicles to transport patients to the CWM Hospital.
