PAULINI Curuenavuli was back home to welcome the New Year with guests and locals at the Sheraton Fiji Resort in Denarau.
The diva flew in for a one-off New Year's Eve concert backed by local band Jericho.
The pop-R&B singer said she was happy to be back with friends and family and was looking forward to 2009.
"I'm excited to be here and back at home," she said. "I was here earlier for the reopening of the Sheraton and now to welcome in the New Year.
"It was an awesome bash.
"I would love to do a recording with one of our local artists. here is just so much talent here in Fiji and the group that backed me up proved just that.
"My New Year's resolution is to lose weight and come back to Fiji next year."
