FIJI National Rugby League officials will be keeping their fingers crossed they receive good news about England-based Semi Tadulala this morning.
The Bradford Bulls star is sweating after being told he faces a four-match ban for an alleged reckless high tackle during last Friday's defeat against Wigan.
A decision was to have been made this morning (Fiji time).
Since the Bulls season is over, Tadulala could miss out playing for Fiji at the Rugby League World Cup.
Tadulala was put on report following the second-half challenge on centre Cameron Phelps and the match review panel rates it Grade C, which carries a suspension of up to four games.
Tadulala, 30, has been named in Fiji's initial 40-man squad and is expected to be a major player for them during the tournament in Australia.
He has grabbed 23 tries in his first season at Odsal since joining from the Wakefield Trinity Wildcats and is expected to shortly sign a new deal.
FNRL chairman Peni Musunamasi said it was unfortunate Tadulala might miss out on RLWC.
"On the same token, these things help our players be more disciplined in the future," Musunamasi said.
"It all starts at home and we need to be very strict on how the players act and behave both on and off the field."
