Store water now, WAF advises Namadi Heights residents

Update: 6:47PM WATER Authority of Fiji (WAF) customers living in parts of Namadi Heights are advised to store water now and use it sparingly over the next eight hours.

A WAF statement, released this afternoon, states that the
disruption in water supply will be from 10pm today until 3am tomorrow, with
normal supply expected to be restored by 6am.

“The Authority is kindly advising its customers residing
in these areas to store and use water wisely for their immediate needs during
the temporary disruption period. However, water carts will be on standby to
service the affected areas as and when the need arises.”

Areas affected include:Mika Dreu Street, Tuisowaqa Road and Salesi
Street.

“The interruption in supply will be a result of the
installation of pipes at Vunakece, Namadi Heights,” the statement read.
