Update: 12:56PM MEMBERS of the public have been advised to steer clear of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces Blackrock Camp exercise area in Nadi as live explosives, blank rounds and flares will be used in a training exercise this week.
In a statement, the RFMF said its Peacekeeping Training Team will conduct a mission rehearsal exercise from today until Friday.
“The exercise is to simulate the Multinational Forces and Observers Mission scenario for training instructors to evaluate and assess all lessons delivered from the Infantry Sync phase up to the mission essentials phase testing the assimilation of lessons with real-time scenarios currently faced in Sinai, Egypt,” the RFMF said.
