State revives sports in Kadavu

SPORTS in our rural, and maritime islands is expected to rise another level, thanks to an ongoing partnership between the Government through the Fiji National Sports Commission, Ministry of Education and the Fiji Police Force.

The partnership, through a memorandum of understanding (MOU), will see aggressive sports development programs across rural and maritime islands.

Commission executive Jo Tuinamata said students from Richmond Methodist High School, Kadavu Provincial High School met at Namalata Central School at Vunisea.

“This is about reviving sports in Kadavu,” Tuinamata said.
